You own (or co-own) the master. Register it on Story, then split your pool with the people who built it — producers, writers, the hook, the engineers.
The 90% creator pool splits DIRECTLY to everyone who made the record — you plus the producer, writers, engineer and singer, each paid on-chain to their own wallet. BRMG's 10% and the fan pool never move. Anyone you bought out (you own the beat / studio / master outright) is flagged as a flat fee and keeps no ongoing royalty.
You'll usually credit
- Producer— the beat / production — usually 3–5 points
- Songwriter / Composer— anyone who wrote the song or lyrics
- Hook / Topline Writer— topline / hook writer if separate
- Mixing Engineer— the mix — a point or a flat fee
• Producers and engineers are conventionally paid in points (1 point = 1% of the master).
• Publishing writers are credited even without a wallet; give them a wallet to pay them on-chain.
